Get Inspired: The Third Annual Great Plains Art & Music Festival Beckons!

Greetings art and music enthusiasts! As the producers of the third annual Great Plains Art and Music Festival, we are thrilled to invite you to join us on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the picturesque Sesquicentennial Point park in Lawrence, Kansas.

This festival is a testament to grassroots passion and community spirit. With no major backers or grants, we rely on the support of lovers of art like you to help us cultivate this burgeoning event into something truly special for Lawrence, Kansas.

There are numerous ways you can support us:

1. Spread the Word: Help us reach more people by spreading the word about the festival to your friends, family, and social networks.

2. Purchase Vendor Booth Space: Showcase your art, crafts, or merchandise by purchasing a vendor booth space at the festival.

3. Buy Tickets: Purchase tickets to the festival and enjoy a day filled with incredible art, music, and community vibes.

4. Donate: Support our nonprofit, the Great Plains Emerging Arts Project, by making a donation. Your contributions help us keep the festival free for most of the day and ensure its sustainability.

5. Volunteer: Join us as a volunteer and assist with various tasks such as parking, setup, cleanup, and providing supplemental security. Your help is invaluable in making the festival a success.

6. Become a Sponsor: Elevate your brand and show your support for the arts by becoming a sponsor of the festival. Sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels, and your contribution will be acknowledged prominently throughout the event, reaching thousands of attendees and community members. Contact us at producer@greatplainsfest.com to learn more about sponsorship opportunities and how you can make a lasting impact on the festival and the community.

For bands and performers, we have devised a unique opportunity for them to benefit directly. While we currently don't have funds to pay the bands upfront, we've created a system where bands can essentially pay themselves by selling tickets and Merchandise to their fans. Additionally, we provide exposure through paid individual ads for the performers on social media, a high-quality recording of their performance, and more. It's a chance for bands to showcase their talent to a passionate audience while also gaining valuable exposure and resources.

Our vision extends beyond just the festival. Over the coming years, we aim to develop a partnership with the city of Lawrence and further enhance Sesquicentennial Point park with amenities like electricity, running water, and ultimately, an amphitheater. This park, with its stunning natural amphitheater overlooking Clinton Lake, is the perfect setting for large outdoor events, and with your support, we can make it even better.

Lawrence, Kansas deserves a premier outdoor venue, and Sesquicentennial Point park is poised to become just that. With your help, we can turn this vision into reality.

Join us in supporting the Great Plains Art and Music Festival. Email producer@greatplainsfest.com to learn how you can get involved and make a difference. Together, let's create something we can all be proud of.

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,
