About the event

Dear esteemed artists and culinary maestros,

As the proud producers of the 3rd annual Great Plains Art and Music Festival, we extend to you a warm invitation to participate in this extraordinary event. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Sesquicentennial Point in Lawrence, Kansas, our festival is a testament to grassroots passion and community spirit.

Nestled in a specially crafted park by the city of Lawrence, Sesquicentennial Point overlooks the serene beauty of Lake Clinton and offers a panoramic view of the surrounding valleys. Though currently lacking in infrastructure such as electricity and running water, this enchanting park serves as the perfect canvas for our outdoor extravaganza. While dreams of an amphitheater dance in our heads, we rent the necessary infrastructure to bring our vision to life, ensuring a seamless experience for all involved.

The Great Plains Art and Music Festival is a labor of love, with every ticket sale contributing to the logistical intricacies that make this event possible. As such, we regret to inform you that refunds cannot be offered, but rest assured, your investment fuels the magic of our festival and helps it grow year after year.

Our festival boasts a diverse crowd of 3,500 enthusiastic attendees, drawn by the allure of art, music, and delectable cuisine. Last year, we hosted over 30 vendors, creating a vibrant marketplace that buzzed with activity and creativity. From live music performances to captivating theatre, soul-stirring poetry readings to mesmerizing dance displays, our festival offers a kaleidoscope of cultural experiences that captivate the senses and inspire the soul.

With vendors raking in over $1000 in past years, it's evident that engaging with our passionate audience is key to maximizing your sales potential. Seize the opportunity to showcase your talents amidst the vibrant atmosphere of our festival, where creativity knows no bounds.

From 11 am till 4 pm, the festival opens its gates for free, welcoming visitors to explore and indulge in a myriad of artistic delights. As the day progresses, the festivities transition into a ticketed event from 4 pm till 11:30 pm, attracting a lively crowd eager to immerse themselves in the magic of the arts.

Come rain or shine, the Great Plains Art and Music Festival perseveres, ensuring that the show goes on regardless of the elements. We are steadfast in our commitment to providing an exceptional experience for both vendors and attendees alike, come what may.

Secure your spot at this remarkable event by purchasing a ticket through the link provided below. Don't miss out on the chance to connect with a passionate community, showcase your talents, and leave a lasting impression on thousands of eager festival-goers.

Join us at the Great Plains Art and Music Festival, where creativity flourishes, music fills the air, and culinary delights tantalize the senses. It's an experience like no other, and we can't wait to share it with you.

Warm regards,
